Personal History
My name is Riley C. Hass, I have been an avid Halo player since I was about six years old. If it wasn't for Combat Evolved, I probably would have never purchased an Xbox, let alone later to get Halo 2. It lead me into the series, sucking me into the books and video games. I fell in love with the entire story, and the gameplay was simply amazing.
Upon Halo 3's release for the Xbox 360, I went straight to the stores to purchase both. To this day, I still use my same beloved 360 I had purchased nearly four years ago without any problems to have occurred what-so-ever. It was slightly over two years ago when I had first went into online gaming and got involved with competitive games. To this day, I love every moment of it.
Please refer to the top of my profile on how to contact me. Thank you.
Brigade History
Back, when I originally joined in the year of '09, I had found the 340th Regiment through Bungie.net's clan forums in July. Sadly, I had only remained with the group for an estimated 3 months because of real life personal issues that arose. Having to leave the 340th, I went severally inactive and didn't start visiting 'till almost a year later.
When I made my decision to return when I was ready, I came back to an entirely different group. No longer the 340th, the name had been changed to the Dropshock Brigade. Many of it's old time members were either NCOs or Officers, or just out right gone. There were only a few recognizable members that I could remember when I came back.
I continued though, and contacted Vitamin about my return. Agreeing, I promised that I would finish boot camp and pass. At first struggling with activity, it soon greatly increased once I had passed with the written exam and boot camp itself. I was asked to be placed into a Platoon and I had said that I should be placed into whichever Platoon had required myself the most.
Being moved to First Platoon there shortly after, I must say that from right now, I couldn't have possibly been happier. First Platoon treated kindly to my arrival, and many of it's members had helped me along in a friendly nature. I began being overall involved in the Platoon, helping it's new members and started to lead practices.
It's two Corporals, Sparatic (now a Sergeant) and Ventura, had always encouraged me along and taught me the ropes to what I needed to know. Getting up on my feet, I had a steady position and hopefully would make it into something that would prosper. I'm Reactive, and a Private in First Platoon. Oohrah. |
